Responsibilities & Context:
Job Context:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Technician for Solar Rooftop Projects to support the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of solar rooftop systems. The role involves on-site technical execution, electrical/mechanical installation, troubleshooting, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with engineering standards. The ideal candidate will work closely with project engineers and site supervisors to deliver high-quality solar energy solutions to clients.
Responsibilities:
Install solar rooftop systems according to engineering drawings and safety standards.
Conduct site surveys and assess installation requirements.
Mount solar panels, inverters, batteries, and related electrical components.
Perform wiring, cabling, and system connections.
Test and commission solar systems after installation.
Troubleshoot and repair system faults or performance issues.
Carry out routine maintenance and inspections of installed systems.
Ensure compliance with electrical and workplace safety regulations.
Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and project teams during installation.
Maintain installation records, service reports, and inventory of tools/materials.
Train clients/end-users on basic system operation and maintenance.
Monitor project timelines and support on-site execution to meet deadlines.
