∎ iDE is an international NGO with over 40 years of experience in designing and delivering market-based anti-poverty programs in 11 countries. We are a world leader in making markets work for the poor as well as the longest-established market development specialist NGO in Bangladesh. iDE believes that markets can be a powerful force for improving smallholder prosperity by creating income and livelihood opportunities for poor rural households. iDE Bangladesh currently has eight projects in Agricultural Markets, Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), and Access to Finance with a focus on women’s economic empowerment and climate-smart technologies.
∎ iDE is looking for a qualified Technical Specialist-Communications for the TLTN Project. This role requires an energetic and detail-oriented person who can manage multiple tasks. This individual is a team player with an entrepreneurial spirit, is willing to learn, and can manage multiple tasks while adapting to shifting priorities.
∎ This individual will assist with communications tasks including, but not limited to: high-quality graphic design, writing and editing, photo and video production and editing, social media content management, basic video editing, maintaining and fostering social media publication, media relations, digital asset management, event coordination, case story collection, archiving and managing knowledge products and other support tasks as assigned by project lead.
∎ Job Location: Dhaka with field visits as needed
∎ Reporting Line: Project Manager-TLTN Project
∎ Contract Duration: Up to May 2025, possibility of extension
