Skill and Competencies:
- Educational qualifications will be relaxed for having long & sound working experience of solar power installation, servicing and maintenance.
- Candidates having 05 years of professional experience in Solar Energy Program implementation will get preference.
- Candidate having Electrical B & C licensee will also get preference.
Responsibilities & Context:
Responsible for:
- Leads installation and upkeep of solar grids, pumps, agro-processing units, aerators, biodigesters, and agro-voltaic systems.
- Diagnoses faults and guides teams on system servicing and repairs.
- Designs and estimates solar solutions tailored to site needs.
- Conducts training and mobilizes communities on solar adoption and usage.
- Manages inventory, warranty claims, and repair logistics for solar equipment.
- Prepares technical reports and documentation to support project monitoring, donor updates, and internal reviews.
Activities:
- Community mobilization in the remote areas and sensitization.
- Installation and maintenance of solar power system.
- Ensure smooth operation of Solar grid, Solar irrigation pump, Solar powered chilling center, Aerator, Bio digesters, Solar power thresher, Dryer and Husking machine for agro-processing, Agro-voltaic and others.
- Provide servicing solutions for all installed solar power system and directions to the technical team for sound functioning and maintenance of system.
- Articulate new ideas related to the renewable energy activities, and develop solar system design & cost estimation.
- Ensure proper store management, warranty service and repairing of damage equipment.
- Conducting meeting, workshop, orientation and training program.
- Any other tasks assigned by Friendship Management.
