Education:
∎ Masters
∎ Minimum of a Masters Degree in Social Science/ Statistics/Urban and Rural Planning or a closely related field from a recognized university with minimum 2nd division/class or GPA/CGPA 2.50 in all examinations.

∎ Understanding of progress, process and outcome monitoring.
∎ Good report writing skills in Bengali and English using Qualitative data.
∎ Minimum 3 years’ experience of monitoring sector preferably with NGO's, working with low income people in WASH sector.
∎ Working experience on WAB funded project will be given preference.
∎ Excellent computer operation skills including SPSS, Microsoft excel, word, power point, email and internet browsing. Application on real time monitoring system will be given preference.
∎ Have to be gender sensitive with sound knowledge and experience on gender issues.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Coordinate implementation of M&E activities.
∎ Monitoring and follow-up of field activities on a regular basis.
∎ Data compilation, Management and Analysis and regular back-check to ensure quality implementation.
∎ Coordinate/Facilitate survey and make project staff acquainted with M&E system.
∎ Experience in developing in online questionnaire for survey.
∎ Have good knowledge on progress and process monitoring (data collection, checking & cleaned properly using the standard data checking system and innovate the ways to improve analyzing the data) and field level monitoring experience.
∎ Ensure required reporting to donor and Nabolok in timely manner.
∎ Ensure development & implementation of M&E framework with quality control criterion for project.
∎ Ensure data collection, analysis reporting of project activities.
∎ Provide technical inputs on M&E issues where needed.
∎ Co-ordinate with WaterAid focal person to smooth operation of online reporting system.
∎ Provide technical assistance, coordination and logistical support to project and Community Mobilizer, and other field staff for follow up activities.
∎ Supervise the construction works to ensure quality of construction works.
∎ Co-ordinate and facilitate extensive field visits .
∎ Meet organizational priority as and when required according to demand.

∎ Job Location: Paikgacha (01) With the regular field visit to the project areas
∎ Nature of job: Contractual, 10 months/ up to project duration – March 2026
∎ Reporting to: Project Manger
∎ Major Job Responsibilities: The Monitoring and Evaluation officer will be responsible for the development and roll-out of the project performance tools for effective project delivery and implementation. He/She will be assist technical staff members in the Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and learning aspect of their respective activities and build the capacity of field staff in effective use of the data management tools and reporting templates including survey (if necessary). The position will be responsible for generating periodic programme implementing reports and assessment reports.
