Educational Requirements:

Job Context:
∎ The Technical Officer shall provide technical expertise in the implementation of the SOLIDAR Child Labour project related to and in particular in the filed of informal and vocational education, RANAS, liaising on a daily basis with implementing partner and relevant stakeholders and overseeing the work of partner staffs. The position involves coordinating and monitoring project activities, budget management, technical reports, coaching field staff, and liaising with stakeholders. The Technical Officer works to ensure technical, budgetary, and programmatic excellence; facilitates strong and regular communication with all staff; provides rapid and ongoing support to program management; and represents Solidar Suisse`s Child labour project at internal and external events.
∎ The Technical Officer will support implementing informal education, vocational and catch-up program activities in Solidar Suisse-supported learning centres in project areas. She/he will work closely with Partner`s Project Coordinator to ensure that planned learning and other field-level activities are implemented timely and in line with the project document to ensure the attainment of set outcomes, results, and objectives.
∎ The candidate is also expected to play an active role in new proposal development efforts in the field of the field of "child labour, non formal education, vocational training, protection, livelihoods including leading assessments, design, drafting of project documents leading to increase SOLIDAR`s and other stakeholders contribution to the wellbeing of disadvantage children in project areas and Bangladesh.
∎ Duty station: Dhaka with 70% travel to Cox Bazar and Chattogram and other
∎ Start date: 15th September 2023 or upon agreement
∎ Contract duration: Fixed-term contract until May 2025 with possibility of extension depending on funding
