Skill and Competencies

Desired Skill:

  • Have sound knowledge on Primary Education.
  • Strong communication skill.
  • Physical fitness for regular field visit.
  • Computer skill (MS Excel and Word) 

Experience requirement:

  • At least 3 years of experience in the relevant field


Responsibilities & Context:

Responsible for:

  • Support implementing Primary Education Programme operation at field level.
  • Visit schools and provide appropriate support to the teachers.
  •  Support to organize teacher capacity building orientation, workshop and training. 
  • Provide necessary administrative and documentation support.

Activities:

Support to implement Primary Education Programme operation at field level:  

  • Supervise school and classroom activities and ensure the required support to respective teachers as well as the students.
  • Ensure proper materials using in class to make the lesson easier and effective for the students.
  • Support to assess students’ learning progress & keep record in a regular basis and ensure all the periodical and special exams.
  • Conduct class minimum twice in a month.
  • Ensure cleanliness of classroom, school premises and school toilets.
  • Ensure smooth operation of co-curricular activities at school.

Visit schools and provide appropriate support to the teacher:

  • Conduct periodic school supervision visit.
  • Conduct absent student’s home visit.
  • Provide support to external visitor during their school visit if required. 

Support to organize teacher capacity building orientation, workshop and training:

  • Communicate with guardian, SMC members, community leaders, local Govt. school teacher and officials.
  • Support to prepare training schedule and facilitate monthly follow-up training for teachers. 

Provide necessary administrative and documentation support:

  • Support to prepare yearly and monthly activity plan.
  • Ensure to update all documents in school and prepare reports timely.
  • Keep liaison with other programme staffs.
  • Receive all programme materials, store in place and keep record.
  • Distribute materials as required to respective staff / school / area and keep record.
  • Support to maintain finance / accounts procedure up to project level and closely work with relevant department.
  • Perform different jobs as assign by respective supervisor.
