Job Summary of STEAMBRIDGE Teacher
A STEAMBRIDGE Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons aligned with the Cambridge Assessment International Education Primary curriculum. The teacher supports students’ academic, social, and emotional development while maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
1. Curriculum Planning and Lesson Delivery
Plan weekly, monthly, and term-wise lessons aligned with the Cambridge Assessment International Education Primary curriculum framework.
Prepare lesson plans with clear learning objectives, success criteria, and differentiated activities.
Deliver interactive and student-centered lessons using inquiry-based and activity-based teaching approaches.
Use a variety of teaching resources such as smart tv, multimedia, worksheets, manipulatives, storytelling, experiments, and educational technology.
Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
Ensure curriculum coverage within the academic calendar.
2. Student Assessment and Progress Monitoring
Conduct formative and summative assessments regularly.
Design quizzes, assignments, projects, oral activities, and classroom exercises to evaluate learning outcomes.
Maintain assessment records, grading sheets, and student portfolios.
Analyze student performance data to identify strengths and areas needing improvement.
Provide individualized feedback and academic support plans where necessary.
Prepare students for Cambridge Progression Tests and Checkpoint assessments if applicable.
3. Classroom Management
Establish classroom rules and routines that promote discipline and positive behavior.
Create a safe, inclusive, respectful, and stimulating learning environment.
Manage student behavior using positive reinforcement and restorative practices.
Organize seating arrangements and learning spaces to maximize engagement and collaboration.
Ensure classroom cleanliness, safety, and proper use of learning materials.
4. Child Development and Student Support
Support students’ social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development.
Identify students with learning difficulties or behavioral concerns and coordinate with school counselors or academic coordinators.
Encourage confidence, creativity, leadership, and independent learning among students.
Promote values such as respect, responsibility, empathy, and teamwork.
Monitor student attendance, punctuality, and well-being.
5. Parent Communication and Engagement
Maintain regular communication with parents regarding academic progress and classroom behavior.
Conduct parent-teacher conferences and progress review meetings.

9. Administrative Duties

Assist in examination invigilation and school administrative tasks when required.

Maintain school database including academic record, attendance, home work upload.
