1. Proven experience as a Sub Editor, Copy Editor, or similar role in a news organization.
2. Exceptional command of the English language, with excellent grammar and writing skills.
3. Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot errors quickly.
4. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
5. Familiarity with SEO best practices and online content management systems.
6. Strong understanding of news and current affairs.

Additional Skills:

1. Proficiency in using editing tools and software.
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
