Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor Degree in any Discipline (Economics, Finance & Banking, Marketing, Management, Business Studies, English, International Relations and Journalism Graduate will get preference.)
∎ Proper experience in respected field & working experience in TV channels or other media institutions would be evaluated.
∎ Minimum 2-4 years working experience in recognized Bangla or English Newspaper/News Portal as Staff Reporter.

∎ At least 2 year(s)
∎ Freshers are also encouraged to apply.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ News gathering, Report writing, Article writing, Editing & Translating.
∎ News updates and publishes contents as required for news portal.
∎ Generating ideas for stories, or taking a brief from a news editor/producer.
∎ Researching stories through personal contacts, the internet and other valid sources.
∎ Selecting proper angle to deliver the story.
∎ Determines a story's emphasis, length and format, and organizes material accordingly.
∎ Shoots and edits news events and news reports.
∎ Produces and presents reports for all platforms of the Company.
∎ Communicate with respective persons and departments over phone, mail or physical communication for collection, preparation and broadcast news.
∎ Monitor and pick up specialized stories from district correspondents' mails, writing script in a deliverable manner to make it communicative without distracting the facts and figures, prepare the item for news bulletin.
∎ Should be familiar with SEO-friendly content writing.
∎ Good Typing speed.
∎ Performs special projects as assigned by Head of Department.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Excellent news-gathering and reporting skills.
∎ Ability to think creatively and see all potential angles of story.
∎ Should have excellent listening and speaking skill in Bangla and English.
∎ Ability to meet deadlines is a must.
∎ Ability to write news instantly to any hot topics internationally or local.
∎ Experience of Video Content Writing.
∎ Must have good writing and proof-reading skills.
∎ Knowledge and Experience of International News.
∎ Bangla typing Speed has to be Very Good.
∎ Visual/Audio media sense will be prioritized.
∎ Presentation skill and clear pronunciation.
∎ Passion for Journalism.
∎ Written and oral Communication skill both in Bangla and English.
∎ Computer operation skill, MS office, e-mail, internet browsing etc.
∎ Ability to work well with others in a collaborative environment.
∎ Awareness of Media Law and ICT Act.
∎ Non-smoker.
