Responsibilities & Context:
- Assist ophthalmologists during eye surgeries in the Operation Theatre.
- Prepare and maintain OT instruments, equipment, and sterile environment.
- Ensure proper pre-operative and post-operative patient care.
- Maintain OT protocols, infection control, and safety standards.
- Handle OT documentation, checklists, and nursing records accurately.
- Coordinate with doctors, anesthetists, and OT support staff.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of surgical supplies and medicines.
- Follow hospital policies, nursing ethics, and professional standards.
