Professional Experience:
Minimum 5–7 years of proven experience in sales & marketing, preferably in Tiles/Ceramic, Sanitary Ware. Also, the Plastic, Steel, and Cement Industry Sales and Marketing.
Minimum 1/2 years in a managerial role leading a sales & marketing team in the Bangladesh market.
Strong network and relationship with dealers, distributors, and institutional buyers in the construction sector.
Demonstrated success in project sales for large-scale developments (e.g., real estate, infrastructure, hotels, commercial buildings).
Technical & Market Knowledge:
Deep understanding of Bangladesh building materials market, consumer preferences, and competitive landscape.
Knowledge of product specifications, installation standards, and design trends in tiles & sanitary ware.
Familiarity with trade marketing, showroom management, and merchandising principles.
Core Skills:
Strategic Sales Planning & Execution – ability to design and implement annual sales & marketing strategies.
Dealer & Distributor Management – onboarding, training, performance monitoring, and relationship building.

Job Context / Purpose
The Manager — Marketing & Sales will lead the overall sales and marketing strategy for LOOKs Ceramics Industry Ltd. of Payra Group’s Tiles & Sanitary portfolio across Bangladesh. This role ensures achievement of revenue and market share targets by managing multi-channel distribution, strengthening dealer networks, expanding project sales, and driving brand visibility. The position requires both strategic planning and hands-on leadership in a highly competitive building materials market.
Responsibilities & Context
Develop and execute annual sales and marketing plans for Tiles & Sanitary Ware.
Build and manage dealer/distributor networks, company showrooms, and project sales channels.
Lead negotiations with key dealers, institutional clients, and large project customers.
Oversee trade marketing initiatives: showroom layouts, product displays, merchandising, and promotional activities.
Launch new products and manage the product portfolio in collaboration with the technical and production teams.
Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and provide timely sales reports to management.
Lead, mentor, and evaluate the performance of Assistant Managers and Executives in the marketing team.
