Responsibilities & Context:
∎ JOB CONTEXT:
∎ We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Finance Manager with in-depth expertise in banking systems (loans, mortgages, etc.) and a strong understanding of modern tax and VAT regulations.
∎ JOB RESPONSIBILTIES
∎ 1. Banking Systems Expertise:
∎ Oversee and manage relationships with banks and financial institutions.
∎ Ensure efficient handling of loans, mortgages, and other banking products.
∎ Assess and manage risks associated with financial instruments and banking operations.
∎ 2. Tax and VAT Compliance:
∎ Monitor and ensure compliance with modern tax laws, VAT rules, and regulatory changes.
∎ Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize the organization's financial performance.
∎ Handle tax planning, filing, and audits to minimize risks and ensure accurate reporting.
∎ 3. Financial Management:
∎ Prepare, analyze, and present financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
∎ Develop and oversee budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
∎ Implement robust financial controls and internal policies to safeguard company assets.
∎ 4. Regulatory Compliance:
∎ Stay updated on local and international financial regulations.
∎ Ensure compliance with accounting standards and reporting requirements.
∎ Conduct regular audits and implement corrective measures as needed.
∎ 5. Team Leadership & Collaboration:
∎ Lead, mentor, and manage the finance team to achieve departmental objectives.
∎ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights for strategic decision-making.
∎ Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies.
