Key Responsibilities
Assess short-, medium-, and long-term funding requirements of the assigned businesses, and develop and execute funding plans based on business needs and cash-flow projections.
Arrange term loans, working capital facilities and other financing from banks and financial institutions, evaluating options on cost, tenure and security, and preparing funding proposals and presentations for lenders and internal stakeholders.
Monitor and manage the debt portfolio, tracking repayment schedules, interest payments, maturities and covenants, and maintaining a consolidated view of borrowing aligned with the Group-level position.
Identify opportunities to refinance, restructure or optimize existing debt, and monitor the cost of debt to recommend improvements in financing efficiency.
Build and maintain relationships with banks, NBFIs and other financial institutions; negotiate rates, fees, repayment structures and facility conditions; coordinate documentation and renewals; and act as the key point of contact between RHL, the SBUs and financial institutions.
Work with Treasury, Finance and business units to understand liquidity needs, support cash-flow forecasting, monitor short-term liquidity gaps, arrange suitable financing and ensure efficient use of available banking facilities.
Prepare regular reports on debt exposure, borrowing costs, maturity profile and funding utilization, and analyze proposed borrowing and financing arrangements.
Prepare management presentations and decision-support reports, and monitor financial and banking market developments affecting the Group's financing position.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a relevant discipline. MBA/Master's in Finance is preferred.
Relevant professional certifications such as CA (ICAB), ACCA, CMA, CFA, FRM or a recognized treasury certification (e.g., CTP, ACT) will be an advantage.
Experience
10–12 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
Experience in Automotive, Real Estate, Property Management, White Goods, Fishing / Marine-related businesses and industries is highly preferred.
Experience in handling multiple businesses/SBUs or diverse financing requirements will be preferred.
Proven experience in corporate funding, treasury, debt management, corporate finance, or banking.
Strong hands-on experience managing bank facilities, corporate borrowing, refinancing, and debt portfolios.
Experience managing relationships and negotiations with banks and financial institutions.
Exposure to working-capital, asset-financing, or project-financing requirements is an added advantage.
