∎ Training/Trade Course: Partially Qualified CA or ACMA
Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develops internal control policies, guidelines, and procedures for activities such as budget administration, cash and credit management, and accounting for the project.
∎ Coordinates and directs the financial planning, budgeting, procurements, or funding activities for project.
∎ Advise the project management on short-term and long-term financial objectives, policies, and actions.
∎ Prepare project financial activity reports, financial position forecasts, budgets, or reports required by regulatory agencies.
∎ Ensure compliance of the Donor like World Bank, JICA, K-exim etc. Should be fluent in procurement process of the respective Donors.
∎ Achieves budget objectives by scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
∎ Monitors and maintains current inventory levels; processes purchasing orders as required; tracks orders in coordination with the respective departments.
∎ Ensure that all statutory requirements are met including Income Tax, VAT, and Withholding Tax etc.
∎ Timely responses to internal and external audit recommendations. Corrective action plans are developed and implemented where needed.
∎ Monitor, track, and report and track capital expenditures/projects spend. Protects assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls.
∎ Support the Finance Department initiatives, including software and systems implementation and other departmental or firm-wide improvements, through research, planning and implementation, as needed.
∎ Perform tasks associated with month-end and year-end close of income statement and balance sheet, account reconciliations & G/L analysis of the project.
∎ Managing day-to-day cash and treasury activities. Reviews, audits, and recording entries in the software.
∎ Ensuring that all payments match policy and documentation through administration of the disbursement files.
∎ Ensure proper project costing including labor, overhead charge allocations, supplier and subcontractor invoices.
∎ Initiate bank transfer request according to procedures, to ensure timely funding. Prepare monthly bank reconciliation and weekly/monthly cash flow projection.
∎ Work closely with construction project managers from start to finish to ensure proper and timely accounting of receivables and payables.
∎ Review all month-end closing activities including general ledger accounts, balance sheet accounts and overhead cost allocation.
∎ Close out project accounts upon project completion.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 18 to 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Females are encouraged to apply.
∎ Sound knowledge in IFRS, the Income Tax Ordinance 1984, and the VAT Act 2012.
∎ Sound knowledge in project management like World Bank, JICA, K-exim Bank etc.
∎ Should be fluent in World Bank procurement process.
∎ Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated institution.
∎ ERP Systems experience. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong negotiation and communication skills.
∎ Strong time management and multi-tasking skills with propensity to self-manage and work independently.
Salary: Negotiable
