Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc in Textile Engineering/ M.Sc/ MBA from a reputed University;
∎ Certified in Supply Chain Management will get preference;
Experience Requirements:
∎ 2 to 4 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare daily yarn purchase requisition after checking the stock status as per approved requisition from concern dept.
∎ Prepare and update yarn status report to visualize the actual scenario as per plan.
∎ Allocate yarn as per production coordinator and merchandising requirement.
∎ Make a plan of Yarn start & End Time of Delivery (TOD)
∎ Share the yarn plan with concern dept. for preparing the knitting plan.
∎ Work in advance yarn & adjustment with order
∎ Sort out and follow up short quantity of yarn stock to avoid yarn stuck at stock
∎ Negotiation of yarn plan with supplier & forwarding to concern dept.
∎ Create Purchase Requisition (PR) / Purchase Order (PO) in Oracle ERP system.
∎ Monitor LC processing status with commercial team.
∎ Follow up total yarn stock item to use as to the FIFO to reduce the slow-moving items.
∎ Working on Organic & BCI yarn Certification.
∎ Any other task as & when assigned by the Management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Females are highly encouraged to apply;
∎ Proven experience in Yarn planning or procurement is a must;
∎ Relevant experience in Spinning factory or Yarn procurement will be an added advantage;
∎ Pro-active, self-motivated, enthusiastic and career oriented;
∎ Good knowledge on competitive yarn market;
∎ Have a strong & fostering collaboration with internal customers & suppliers;
∎ Excellent communication and strong presentation skills both in English & Bengali
∎ Well conversant in MS-Office specially in ERP system
∎ Willing to stay beside factory
Salary: Negotiable
