Educational Requirements:
∎ BA (Hons) / B.Sc (Hons) in Fashion Design, Apparel Manufacturing or Textile Engineering
∎ Graduate in Textile Manufacturing or Apparel Merchandising from a well reputed institution

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 4 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Execute the product development process under the guidance of the Manager, from concept to production, working collaboratively with design, merchandising, sourcing, and production teams.
∎ Contribute to market research efforts to identify emerging trends and consumer preferences, using this insight to develop imaginative and competitive kidswear products.
∎ Participate in the execution of product development strategies and timelines, aligning with standard and growth targets.
∎ Assist in ensuring that all products meet quality requirements and adhere to BYSL Global's policies, promoting ethical and sustainable practices.
∎ Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams, fostering effective communication and alignment throughout the product development process.
∎ Assist in managing budgets for the product development process, ensuring that expenditures align with sales targets and financial objectives while minimizing wastage.
∎ Play a role in mentoring a team of product developers, providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth.
∎ Foster connections with suppliers to facilitate timely, budget-conscious, and quality-driven product manufacturing.
∎ Contribute to the product development lifecycle, from design and development to feedback, revisions, tech specification, and pre-production sampling.
∎ Assist in completing required documentation, filing work, and system data entry accurately and efficiently.
∎ Gain a thorough understanding of the garment manufacturing process to ensure compliance with lead times.
∎ Monitor shifts in market trends, emerging innovations, and market dynamics.
∎ Demonstrate the ability to meet deadlines and work within budget constraints.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Sound knowledge of fabric development, textile techniques, and production processes.
∎ Familiarity with diverse material types, including natural and synthetic fibers, and their respective properties.
∎ Basic understanding of apparel product design and development processes.
∎ Aptitude for generating new ideas and concepts that resonate with kidswear trends.
∎ Keen perception of product quality, creativity, innovation, assembly, and garment care.
∎ Sufficient familiarity with garment construction and patterns.
∎ Proficiency in design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite and CAD.
∎ Demonstrated skills in product design, technical design, sketching, and creative application.
∎ Experience in contributing to product development plans, from concept to production.
∎ Awareness of global sourcing and supply chain management, encompassing material sourcing and production in various regions.
∎ Understanding of the kidswear market, including consumer preferences, trends, and competition.
∎ Capacity to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
∎ Meticulous attention to detail, dedicated to upholding quality standards.
∎ Effective teamwork and collaboration, fostering positive cross-functional relationships.
∎ Familiarity with legal, safety, and regulatory requirements related to kidswear products.
∎ Analytical capabilities to distill and synthesize insights from substantial data.
∎ Awareness of ethical and sustainable practices within the apparel industry.
∎ Strong communication abilities, promoting effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and stakeholders.
∎ Minimum 4+ years in the relevant area

∎ At least 4 years' experience as a product developer with a focus on Kidswear product development in a reputed buying office or factory.
∎ Be able to work on deadlines and manage multiple projects at once

∎ Must have good knowledge of varieties of fabric and accessories.
∎ Must have good knowledge of various types of print, embroidery, and other garment technology.
∎ Should have proficiency in English
∎ Ability to work under pressure and should conduct the team as a supportive leader
∎ Skilled in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
