Job Context:
∎ We are looking for suitable candidates for the position of Fashion Designer (Womenswear) who will lead our team of trailblazer designers dedicated to creating extraordinary fashion designs based on innovative and original concepts in multiple menswear categories. As a Fashion Designer the prospect will create and orchestrate original design concepts, reflecting design philosophies of individual brands, while appropriately meeting merchandising needs. He will also capture market trends, create new trends as per brand strategy, and ensure alignment with business management briefs.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead and execute the research and development of seasonal women's fashion collections
∎ Research and develop brand appropriate design trends and fashion ideas specifically targeted to the womenswear category
∎ Collaborate with Sourcing and Product Development teams to select lead, develop and finalize new designs, select materials, incorporate relevant technologies, select color and trims and relate them to the product design & function
∎ Create product aesthetics inclusive of branding, color, and patterns
∎ Understand design from a technical perspective, i.e. producing patterns, mock-ups and technical specifications for designs
∎ Ensure the timely and successful design and development of products in line with the brand requirements
∎ Ensure consistency of the highest level of design across all products and categories
∎ Keep up to date with emerging fashion trends as well as general trends relating to fabrics, colors and shapes.
∎ Capacity to create new trends as per the brand guidelines.
∎ Cooperate with the Merchandising Department for all kinds of womenswear development projects.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 35 years
∎ Total 5 to 8 years experience in relevant fields.
∎ In depth knowledge of textile raw materials, fabric composition, fabric structure, embroidery, trim, accessories, etc.
∎ Extensive knowledge of apparel product design and development.
∎ Ingenious capacity to generate new ideas and concepts.
∎ A strategic thinker, collaborator, manager and innovative problem solver who can work independently and cross functionally with a diverse set of teams across the organization to fuel and support new product concepts and development.
∎ Ability to influence and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
∎ Good sense of product quality and standards.
∎ Good enough knowledge about garment construction and pattern.
∎ Be able to work on deadlines and manage multiple projects in parallel
∎ Understanding of the entire design and product development process
∎ Empowers others by sharing information and context around strategic direction and decision-making process
∎ Should have proficiency in English
∎ Ability to work under pressure and should conduct the team as a supportive leader
∎ Must be accustomed with fashion-graphic designing, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
∎ Should preferably possess the knowledge of 3D fashion designing software (CLO 3D)
∎ Skilled in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
∎ Should be able to use MAC OS and related devices
