Job Context:
∎ Provide overall financial management and efficient administration of accounting, reporting, treasury, insurance and taxation functions of the Company through development and application of financial policies/system/control to ensure the achievement of financial objective of the organization.
∎ Job Location: For Gulshan Branch
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare Financial Statements in accordance with standard procedure.
∎ Ensure timely reporting of Financial Statements in monthly/ quarterly/ yearly.
∎ Supervise and monitor the reconciliation of all general ledger and subsidiary ledger.
∎ Preparation of monthly/ quarterly/ half yearly/ annual budget as necessary.
∎ Monitor, review, control the accounting transaction, records and documentation.
∎ Verify transactions are properly recorded into the register book and software.
∎ Develop the Chart of Accounts.
∎ Assist in development of ERP system and Customer Information & Management System (CIMS).
∎ Assist in development & implementation of any policy for establishment of internal control system.
∎ Preparation of VAT return and submission of VAT returns on time as per law.
∎ Supervise the total working process as per requirement of external auditors.
∎ Preparation of any company profile/ accounts/ documents as required for the purpose of processing any loan or credit rating and assistance for making any contract documents (financial portion only).
∎ Any LC or advance TT related works for importing goods from abroad.
∎ Any work in respect of insurance policy of any property, plant and equipments etc. of the company.
∎ Control, monitor and guide the subordinates for any process of work.
∎ Assist for the renewal of licenses, like IRC, DCCI etc.
∎ Ensure all statutory and regulatory requirements are properly complied.
∎ Maintain liaison with Registrar of Joint Stock Companies (RJSC), Tax & VAT office and others.
∎ Maintenance of Cash Book based on necessity.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 3 - 4 years similar job experience preferable
∎ Strong leadership and people management skills
∎ Must be honest to handle all cash related activities diligently
∎ Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
∎ Excellent analytical reporting skill
∎ Competent in IT based F&A Management
∎ Excellent stress tolerance and willingness to adapt readily to changes into work situations
