Job Responsibilities:
∎ Manage and produce news to present information with accuracy, flow, and within time frame.
∎ Design innovative and unique solutions to optimize routine news coverage.
∎ Monitor and use multimedia, nonlinear and alternative storytelling strategies to widen readership base.
∎ Manage and edit contents to cater to readers’ requirement and provide detailed information for same.
∎ Work within creative environment to respond to various competing priorities.
∎ Design and implement coverage strategies to facilitate wide coverage of all sorts of issues and news.
∎ Evaluate all news for authenticity and check with sources to ensure correctness of published article to avoid conflicts.
∎ Collaborate with reporters, editors and photojournalists and anchors to facilitate efficient news coverage to strengthen company’s position in media market.
∎ Manage and edit daily news, special news stories and periodical items
∎ Take responsibility for the news areas of the website, ensuring consistent high quality, good ‘inclusive’ writing, plenty of visuals and timely uploads.
∎ Efficiency in Bangla typing is a must
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 20 to 40 years
∎ Only third genders are allowed to apply
∎ Video Editing Software: Proficiency in using industry-standard video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.
∎ Motion Graphics: Skilled in creating motion graphics, animations, and visual effects to enhance video content.
∎ Color Correction and Grading: Expertise in adjusting and enhancing video colors for visual consistency and storytelling impact.
∎ Storyboarding: Ability to plan and visualize video sequences through storyboards for effective storytelling.
∎ Sound Editing: Knowledge of sound editing techniques, including audio cleanup, mixing, and adding music or voiceovers.
∎ Transitions and Effects: Creating seamless transitions and visual effects to enhance video flow and engagement.
∎ Video Compression: Understanding of video compression techniques to optimize file sizes for various platforms.
∎ Multi-camera Editing: Proficient in handling and synchronizing footage from multiple cameras for a cohesive final edit.
∎ Content Adaptation: Experience in tailoring video content for different social media platforms, aspect ratios, and screen sizes.
∎ Creative Storytelling: Ability to craft compelling narratives and storytelling techniques to engage viewers.
∎ Collaboration: Strong collaboration skills to work closely with scriptwriters, directors, and other team members.
∎ Time Management: Effective time management skills to meet project deadlines and work efficiently.
∎ Stay Updated: Keeping up with industry trends and new editing software/tools to continually improve skills and stay innovative.
