Experience:

• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS)

Basic Qualification

• MBBS

• Registration with a State Medical Council.

Postgraduate Qualification

• MD in Radiology or related field

• MD (Doctor of Medicine) in Radiodiagnosis.

• At least 2 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Hospital, Diagnostic Centre, Clinic

• Age 25 to 40 years

Performing Diagnostic Ultrasound Scan

• Conduct a variety of ultrasound studies (e.g., abdominal, obstetric, pelvic, vascular, musculoskeletal, small parts, etc.).

• Operate ultrasound equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.

• Ensure correct technique and optimal image quality during the scan.

Interpreting Ultrasound Findings

• Analyze ultrasound images to identify normal and abnormal findings.

• Correlate findings with clinical history and other diagnostic results.

• Provide accurate and timely interpretations.

Reporting and Documentation

• Prepare and sign detailed diagnostic reports.

• Document findings clearly in the hospital`s EMR or PACS system.

• Maintain high standards of accuracy and clarity in all written reports.

Patient Interaction and Counseling

• Explain the procedure and its purpose to patients.

• Answer patient queries related to the scan within the scope of practice.

• Maintain a calm, respectful, and professional manner at all times.

Quality Control and Equipment Management

• Ensure proper functioning and calibration of ultrasound machines.

• Maintain cleanliness and safety of ultrasound equipment and rooms.

• Report any technical issues to biomedical or maintenance teams.

Collaboration with Clinical Teams

• Coordinate with referring doctors to discuss clinical findings and implications.

• Suggest further investigations if needed, based on scan results.

• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, if required.

Supervision and Training

• Train and supervise junior doctors, residents, or ultrasound technicians.

• Guide assistants or support staff during procedures.

Compliance and Ethics

• Follow hospital protocols and national/international sonography standards.

• Ensure patient privacy, consent, and confidentiality at all times.

• Maintain up-to-date certifications and medical licensure.
