Responsibilities & Context:

Siemens Energy India Limited is engaged in Design, Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of 230KV &

132KV Substations on Turnkey Basis for Power Grid Bangladesh PLC.

The Site Manager will manage the Project Execution and Organize, manage, and track progress and costs consistent with and scheduling requirements.

Responsibilities

• Achievement of project targets/ goals in time, within budget and to the right level of quality according to this LOE.

• Taking over of site from customer

• Setting of Site office infrastructure, transportation and communication arrangements.

• Setting of indoor/ outdoor storage for storage of equipment/ material

• Arranging construction power and water supply

• Ensure maintenance of updated records of drawings, manuals, work instructions, test and inspection documents, measurement sheets and other relevant documents.

• Study and implementation of site as per engineering drawing. In case of mismatch among various coordinates escalate to PM.

• Support for generating ‘As Built Drawings’.

• Compliance of all regulations regarding health, safety and environment (details in the next section).

• Ensuring Project /Site Quality with implementation of FQP/ records/NCR. Coordination of all activities on site as per approved drawings/documents.

• Regular site progress review meetings with the contractors & customers.

• Coordination for joint verification report for the work executed at site.

• Coordination for claims/additional work with technical manager/project manager and with customers.

• Coordination for handing over site installation & TOC.

• Daily progress report to PM.

• Weekly Report on Progress, Quality & Safety to Project Manager, Quality Manager & Safety Manager.
