Job Responsibilities:
∎ Under the guidance of the Site Management Project Manager, the Site Management Team Leader will be responsible for day to day site management operations in the designated camp. SM Team Leader will lead a team of 3 SM Officers and 9 SM Assistants, who will work in coordination with site development team to ensure the smooth running of the camp, addressing basic needs of the Rohingya refugees.
∎ Key outcomes:
∎ Operational management of the SM project component and SM team
∎ Deputize the SM PM in the engagement with CiC and service providers at camp level
∎ Coordinate with SD Coordinator for the monitoring and implementation of SSSI care and maintenance
∎ Support SD Officer in strengthening the Manage the refugee relocation process to/from the camp (when applicable), closely coordinating with the SD and Shelter teams as well as other service providers during the exercise.
∎ Closely coordinate with the SD team and other service providers for the allocation of space for small-scale site infrastructure and land allocation for service provision
∎ Work with Accountability team in maintaining an efficient accountability mechanism in the camp.
∎ Assist SM Officer in ensuring the community responsibilities, as part of site management are coordinated and delivered.
∎ Ensure the data/information requirement from government, donor agencies and other stakeholders are timely addressed
∎ Represent Christian Aid in relevant coordination forums and ensure quality presence of Christina Aid in those forums
∎ Make sure protection activities in the camp are taking place efficiently and as per the policy.

Additional Requirements:
∎ The position requires following essential and desirable competencies and qualification:
∎ Essential:
∎ Strong experience of working in refugee camps
∎ Knowledge of and experience in camp operation.
∎ Clear understanding of the Core Humanitarian Standards
∎ Demonstrated gender awareness and sensitivity
∎ Experience in coordination of activities
∎ Minimum five years' experience working with an NGO and/or INGO
∎ Understanding of humanitarian standards and principles
∎ Strong communication skills across ethnicities and gender
∎ Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to gender equality
∎ Fluency in Bangladeshi.
∎ Able to join within 10 days of receiving the offer.
∎ Desirable:
∎ Advanced degree in related field
∎ Demonstrated specialisation in community engagement
∎ Knowledge of a local dialect
