Educational Requirements:
∎ Master's degree in Women and Gender Studies and Psychology. Master's degree in psychology from any recognized University will be given priority.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Program:
∎ Work closely with the Project Coordinator and Manager Protection as technical specialist for GBV and counselling activities.
∎ Technical Supervision of the staff and volunteers on protection, counselling and GBV case Management.
∎ Develop training plan for Community Volunteers on GBV, PSS, and counselling; facilitate sessions as needed, with support of the Protection officer and other resource agencies.
∎ Develop community facilitation guide for GBV prevention session and train the CBFOs community facilitators to facilitate the session among men and women.
∎ Ensure technical support in conducting assessments and base-/end line surveys as needed, assuring for compliance with safety and ethical standards.
∎ Responsible for GBV case management. Contribute to developing SoPs for the team in identification of cases and case management.
∎ Ensure project activities, specifically counselling is implemented in a high-quality manner.
∎ Report to the Project Coordinator on Protection trends, strategy for the program and need of support.
∎ Contributing to the preparation of internal and external reports for the NGO and donors, including expenditure plans and situation reports.
∎ Maintain contact, liaison, network, and coordination with the actors of the Public and Private sector for exchange ideas/ views, good practices, and learnings.
∎ Represent Caritas Bangladesh in different Public and Private sector Forums/Clusters/Associations/ Campaigns, etc. as assigned by the Caritas Management.
∎ Protection Mainstreaming and Quality Programming:
∎ Uphold the strictest confidentiality and protection of data pertaining to beneficiaries and Caritas Bangladesh staff and volunteers and reinforce this confidentiality in the field.
∎ Understand Protection against Sexual Abuse and Exploitation and Safeguarding policies and uphold duties as a mandated reporter.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Only females are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in the similar job in any reputed organizations. Experience in working on SGBV/GBV/PSS/ Community Based Protection Program in emergency programs is strongly preferred, especially in Rohingya camps, Cox's Bazar.
∎ Knowledge on ICT particularly on MS Excel, MS Word (both Bangla & English), Power Point etc., is essential.
∎ Should be fluent in communication both in writing and speaking in English & Bengali language.
∎ Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, coordination, and training/facilitation skills.
∎ Should have persistence when faced with difficult problems or challenges.
∎ Should be self-driven and positive to work in a team.
∎ Should have "can do' attitude and able to handle multiple tasks managing priorities.
∎ Committed to work following organizational aims, values, principal, and policies.
∎ Familiar in speaking and understanding the Chittagonian dialect will be an advantage.

Salary: Tk. 65000 (Monthly)
