Additional Requirements: Responsibilities & Context: Technical Service & Repair:
- Diagnose and repair faults in appliances such as ACs, refrigerators, TVs, washing machines, and other home appliances.
- Perform routine maintenance and servicing as per manufacturer guidelines.
- Replace defective parts using proper tools and techniques.
On-Site Visits:
- Visit customer homes or service locations to perform installation, servicing, or troubleshooting.
- Ensure all safety and operational protocols are followed during field visits.
Installation & Commissioning:
- Install new appliances at customer locations.
- Test equipment after installation to ensure proper functionality.
Customer Interaction:
- Communicate clearly with customers to understand issues and explain the work done.
- Provide usage and maintenance tips to customers to improve appliance longevity.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and resolve them effectively
Quality Control & Testing:
- Conduct post-repair testing to confirm successful repair and safety compliance.
- Ensure repairs are in line with brand/service standards.
Spare Parts Management:
- Manage and track spare parts inventory.
- Ensure correct parts are used and report shortages or ordering needs.
Reporting & Documentation:
- Maintain service records, job sheets, and customer feedback forms.
- Report major faults or recurring issues to senior technicians or supervisors.
Coordination & Follow-Up:
- Coordinate with service centers, vendors, and logistics for parts and technical support.
- Follow up with customers after service to ensure satisfaction.
Training & Skill Upgradation:
- Stay updated on the latest technology and service techniques for modern appliances.
- Attend workshops or manufacturer training programs as required.
