Responsibilities & Context:
Diagnose and repair Apple (Mac, iPad, iMac) and Microsoft Surface devices at hardware and software levels.
Perform advanced L3 (board-level) diagnostics and repair on Apple devices (MacBook, iMac, iPad) and Microsoft Surface devices.
Install, configure, and update macOS.
Provide on-site Apple or Microsoft service support at customer premises as per service assignment.
Communicate clearly with customers regarding fault diagnosis, repair status, and timelines.
Provide technical support and guidance to L1/L2 engineers when required.
Strong knowledge of Apple logic board architecture and power management circuits.
Strong knowledge of installation, configuration, and deployment of Microsoft Surface devices.
Ensure quality control and final testing before device delivery.
Strong knowledge of Apple ID creation, verification, and basic account configuration.
Ability to assist customers in creating new Apple IDs and setting up accounts on macOS and iOS devices.
In-depth knowledge of all major hardware components and spare parts of Apple and Microsoft Surface devices.
