Job Responsibilities:
∎ Write and edit sports-related (cricket, football, and other popular sports) news/articles on a daily basis
∎ Deliver content free of spelling, grammar, punctuation, and contextual errors
∎ Produce plagiarism-free content
∎ On-page SEO of the sports news/article
∎ Stay up to date with the latest news and updates in the local and international sports arena
∎ In-detailed research on the assigned topics to identify and incorporate relevant sources
∎ Coordinate with the content team to identify new story ideas
∎ Make sure that writing follows the in-house style guide
∎ Review and incorporate feedback from digital editor and SEO editor into subsequent work
∎ Maintain deadlines
∎ Host live videos on trending sports topics
∎ Coordinate with the digital team to cover diverse sports events.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 22 to 40 years
∎ Experienced in digital content writing in English
∎ Be able to analyse trending topics, research keywords
∎ Previous experience in professional SEO sports writing
∎ 3 to 5 samples of published SEO sports articles/reports
∎ Enthusiastic about writing
∎ Engaging writing style that blends information with interesting tone
∎ Editing experience would be considered a plus
