Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Science (MSc) in Statistics, Master of Development Studies (MDS)

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Data Analysis, Data management, Development Economics, Evaluation, Excellent English, Proficiency in written and spoken English, Research and Consulting Firms, Research Design/ Analysis, Social research
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Research Organization

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist principal investigator/team leader to design and review the methodology of different study/ research.
∎ Assist principal investigator/team leader to prepare interview guides/tools for the research;
∎ Implement all the preparatory works including pre-testing the tools;
∎ Participate in data collection.
∎ Notes/ Transcriptions of FGDs/KIIs and other qualitative sessions
∎ Transcribe and translate the data into English;
∎ Survey design and develop data collection tools using KoBo or other statistical data collection platform
∎ Prepare tabulation plan and quantitative data analysis.
∎ Compilation of qualitative information .
∎ Assist principal investigator/team leader in analysis and preparing the draft report;
∎ Study progress reporting
∎ Team building and coordination with different stakeholders and team members of DevResonance and its affiliated institutions.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 80 years
∎ Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in social research field.
∎ Language: Fluency in English (oral and written).
∎ Other Desirable:
∎ Adequate seniority and with good working knowledge of the Bangladesh context, ideally with a focus on Gender, women empowerment, Health, WASH, livelihoods etc.
∎ Ability and willingness to go to field;
∎ Good writing and analytical skills;
∎ Ability to liaise with different stakeholders, at different levels;
∎ Energetic, proactive, and well-organized individual;
∎ Ability to work independently (under supervision) and in team;
∎ Professional, reliable and impartial observer to ensure the least possible level of bias in the data collected
∎ Computer Proficiency:
∎ MS word English and Bangla (Bijoy), MS-Excel.
∎ SPSS/ STATA
∎ Knowledge of qualitative software will be an asset.
