Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Develop, implement, and monitor quality assurance standards for footwear and accessories.
∎ Establish and maintain quality control systems and procedures across the production process.
∎ Ensure compliance with international and company-specific quality standards.
∎ Conduct pre-production, in-line, and final inspections of footwear and accessories.
∎ Identify defects and deviations from quality standards and provide timely feedback to vendors and suppliers.
∎ Approve or reject finished goods based on established quality criteria.
∎ Work closely with suppliers to ensure raw materials and components meet required specifications.
∎ Provide training and guidance to vendors on quality requirements and best practices.
∎ Address quality-related issues and enforce corrective actions with suppliers.
∎ Perform and oversee product testing to ensure durability, performance, and compliance with safety standards.
∎ Prepare detailed inspection and quality audit reports, highlighting findings and recommendations.
∎ Analyze recurring defects and suggest process improvements to minimize quality issues.
∎ Collaborate with the production, merchandising, and design teams to align quality standards with product goals.
∎ Ensure timely communication of quality updates and feedback to relevant stakeholders.
∎ Identify opportunities to enhance quality assurance procedures and implement best practices.
∎ Lead initiatives to minimize defects and optimize production processes for improved efficiency and quality.
∎ We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior QA Inspector (Footwear and Accessories), to oversee and maintain the quality standards of our products. The role involves ensuring compliance with quality benchmarks, conducting inspections, and collaborating with production teams to deliver top-quality footwear and accessories that meet customer expectations and company standards.
