Job Context:
∎ This role will be responsible for supporting field level partner staff with day-to-day activities with a focus of partner staff and community-based learning facilitators capacity building. They will support technical manager with identifying partner project staffs need on capacity building, tools development, support with training and facilitation. The personnel are also responsible for project-related documentation processes (i.e., module, case study, success story). As a team member of Education program, They will also closely work with program and operation team to fostering the quality program implementation at ground. Develop and maintain effective working relationships with local communities, local government agencies, with strategic and other implementing partners.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Sr. Project Officer - Training and Quality Assurance will perform a variety of tasks under the guidance of the Technical Manager for completion of the project activities including, but not limited to:
∎ Support with review and analysis of existing Teacher Professional Development frameworks, approaches, and training content, in addition to existing data collection systems for teachers in LC/CBLFs
∎ Support to review and rollout the Teacher Professional Development Framework for MC
∎ Facilitate different meetings, training, and workshops as needed for the project.
∎ Organize and ensure logistical support for workshops, training, and other relevant activities.
∎ Raise related PRs, and vehicle requisitions and maintain good relations with support departments.
∎ Provide support in data collection, monitoring, reporting, and other required M&E efforts.
∎ Monitor, modify and refine classroom monitoring tools.
∎ Monitor and oversight of any technology-enhanced teacher professional development platforms.
∎ Support in conducting a standardized evaluation for student learning and well-being.
∎ Engagement with camp level key stakeholders: government, local stakeholders, caregivers, education sector & Implementing partners.
∎ Develop guidelines on facilitators Teachers Learning Cycle (TLC) as per education sector standard.
∎ Assess partner/project personnel/facilitators skill and take necessary initiatives for improvement.
∎ Regular visit to project areas (Camps and host) for developing project’s activities and quality implementation.
∎ Ensure project related quality documentation (i.e. case study, success story)
∎ Functional working relationship with Education and other teams and extend support where necessary and rationale.
∎ Support in partner communication and ensuring partner deliverables.
∎ Any other relevant tasks assigned from IRC management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 18 to 60 years
∎ Experience and skills in community learning facilitators training on MC/ALP, and TPD design would be of value.
∎ Experience working with Rohingya refugees and vulnerable groups of people.
∎ Understanding and sensitivity to the needs of people from a variety of backgrounds and cultures
∎ Cultural awareness and ability to build relationships quickly with a wide variety of people.
∎ Understanding of local dialect will be an additional value.
∎ Cares about the mission and goals of the IRC.
∎ Working experience with the Education program will be an additional value.
∎ Proficient in Bengali and English. Functional proficiency in the local dialect would be advantageous.
∎ Should be willing to travel to project areas (Camps & Host) at regular basis.
∎ Understanding and sensitivity of the local context.
∎ Ability to work under pressure.
