Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum Masters Degree in Environmental Science/ Climate Change / Economics / International Relations / Development Studies or Related Discipline from Bangladesh Govt. Recognized University. Knowledge of Climate Change issues will be an added advantage.
∎ Masters Degree from any reputed foreign university specially from Europe or North America will get preference.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Context:
∎ Duration: The Initial appointment will be for twelve months with possible extension subject to fund availability.
∎ Job Location: ICCCAD office in Dhaka
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To carry out the coordination of LLARN
∎ Communicate with partners and funders and Government officials
∎ Enhance the membership of the LLARN and provide support for new members to engage effectively
∎ Write periodic report on the activities of the network
∎ Develop LLA programme details and periodical updates for the website
∎ Assistance in any programmatic support to the programme coordinator
∎ Assist with fundraising
∎ Report to Director
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 5 years work experience in the relevant field with any local / international organizations.
∎ Experience in coordination/organize events with Government , Non- Government , INGO's and Development Partners.
∎ Competency in Computer software's like MS Office, SPSS, GIS related software. Strong communication through online social media , Analytical research work are desirable.
∎ Fluency in English and Bangla Required.
∎ Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in teams and multi-cultural environments.
