The Programme Development, Resource, and Learning Department (PRL) works across the whole organization, with regional teams, international country offices and BRAC affiliates abroad in designing , high quality programmes , mobilizing resources, expanding partners/donor networks among others. This position will support the strategic partnerships management process of BRAC in collaboration with relevant programmes, divisions and departments. The role will be the primary coordinator of partnership management with BRAC's strategic partners and internal stakeholder management. Also, s/he will constantly strive to find ways to collaborate more effectively with the strategic partners of BRAC to both improve the service delivery and global reach of BRAC. Responsibilities:
∎ Maintain and strengthen the Organization's relationship with strategic partners and donors through regular liaison and provision of information on BRAC facilitating discussions and input from BRAC's senior management programmes/projects.
∎ Coordinate closely with strategic partners and donors to understand their priorities and work with BRAC's internal stakeholders to shape relevant and timely communication and engagement with the strategic partners
∎ Respond to donor-driven institutional assessments of the Organization aimed at gauging institutional strengths and weaknesses, including by coordinating Department/prorammes participation and ensuring management responses to these assessments.
∎ Facilitate the process of making periodic updates to the SPA Results Framework, based on analysis of changes in context and learning from BRAC's programmes on the ground, ensuring high technical quality of indicators and data and relevance to BRAC's strategic goals, while meeting the needs of donor expectations
∎ Work closely with Finance & Accounts and Monitoring teams to ensure that results framework of strategic partnerships is up to date.
∎ Drive knowledge management component of the strategic partnerships within BRAC, working across programmes to gather and synthesize learning and knowledge, while identifying opportunities for strategic input and thought partnership from strategic partners
∎ Organize and facilitate meetings, field visits and technical consortia for strategic partners in coordination with the relevant programmes and departments
∎ Provide periodic updates on the in-country donor landscape and prospective opportunities to relevant programme leadership and senior management of BRAC
∎ Produce high quality written communication documents, related to strategic partnership, including annual progress report, briefing notes, donor reporting, visit briefs, etc.
∎ Represent BRAC in donor meetings
∎ Ensure compliance with donors and partners in audit reviews, mid-term and year end reviews, due diligence, etc.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place,
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 7 years in development or related field; ideally would have experience working in a number of different functions donor liaison and reporting, programme management, resource mobilization, fundraising/grant writing etc.
∎ Minimum 2 years of experience in managing strategic partnership and external donor relations.
