Experience:
Master’s degree in International Development Studies, Social Sciences, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
Others:
Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in the development sector, with proven experience working with INGOs/NGOs, particularly in partnership management, resource mobilization, and donor relations in complex contexts.
Specialized knowledge of international development policies, global affairs, and donor compliance requirements; working knowledge of major institutional donors such as GAC, FCDO, SIDA, UN, EU and USAID is desirable.
Proven experience in donor reporting, with strong skills in producing high-quality written outputs.
Demonstrated expertise in proposal development, including pitches, technical bids, and complex budget preparations.
Experience in engaging with private and bilateral donors for resource mobilization.
Prior exposure to innovative funding models such as pooled funds, CSR, or blended financing approaches will be considered an added advantage.
Analytical and conceptual ability, negotiating, communication and advocacy skills.
Advanced proficiency in MS Office and related digital tools.
Highly self-motivated, adaptable, and a strong team player with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Ability and willingness to travel as per requirement.

Job Purpose: This role primarily entails assisting the Resource Mobilization department in its fundraising endeavors. Responsibilities include aiding in donor scoping, proposal development and submission, donor communication, and maintaining the funding pipeline. Moreover, the role involves updating the internal information management system with new proposal developments and pipeline information.
Job Responsibilities:
1.Proposal Development and Fundraising ;
Conduct donor scoping/mapping and prepare Go/No-Go analyses.
Identification of emerging sources of funding; assessment of their current usage and potential for the future.
Development of high-quality project proposals and concept notes.
Facilitate proposal development workshops and analyses (needs assessment, problem tree analysis, logical framework, theory of change, stakeholder/risk analysis).
Research, design, and manage fundraising initiatives.
Coordinate and collaborate with relevant departments to ensure effective project design.
Ensuring timely submissions of project proposals and achievement of fundraising targets.
Development and conduct of a Competitive Landscape Analysis of partners, their priorities and characterization of their relationships/partnerships.
2. Donor and Partnership Management;
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing donors to secure long-term support.
Manage donor portfolios, ensuring compliance, reporting, and retention.
Explore and establish partnerships with INGOs, NGOs, think tanks, coalitions, and technical partners.
Explore and secure CSR funding opportunities to diversify UCEP Bangladesh’s resource base.
Support the donor due diligence process, ensuring compliance with organizational and donor standards.
Draft and review MoUs/contracts with organizational and legal compliance.
Prepare and deliver project presentations and pitches to donors and partners.
Organize donor visits, signing ceremonies, and fundraising/partnership events.
3. Strategic and Organizational Contributions
Development of a detailed Partnership and Resource Mobilization (PRM) Strategy with planning tools to implement the strategy
Contribute to UCEP Bangladesh’s strategy, vision, and mission.
Support fundraising budget planning and monitoring.
Promote UCEP’s visibility through social media and external communications.
Ensure confidentiality, compliance, safeguarding, gender equity, and inclusiveness.
Perform other tasks assigned by management, aligned with UCEP’s policies.
