Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Senior Officer-Financial Compliance will be responsible mainly to assist the Manager-Financial Compliance in ensuring country operation is fully complied with grants audit requirements such as preparation of financial statements for donor and member audit, NGOAB and relevant TAX, VAT laws are duly implemented. S/he will work with reporting and payables teams to ensure compliance with SCI financial policies & procedures, administrative policy and other policies that have financial implications. The role holder will analysis of Budget vs. Actual based on NGOAB project and closely work with government relation team regarding NGOAB budget and fund clearance requirements.
∎ The incumbent will support the external auditors with documentary evidences and financial statements.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 4 years working experience in finance/accounts, preferably in Audit handling section in NGOs/ INGOs.
∎ Advanced knowledge on Financial Management and audit management, donor contract management, rules and regulations of NGOAB, TAX, VAT etc.
∎ Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a tight deadline.
∎ Required skills in negotiation, coordination and facilitation.
∎ Proficiency in MS Office, especially in Powerpoint, Excel and any Accounting software.
∎ Professional training from reputed accounting & audit firm is an advantage.
