∎ At foodpanda Bangladesh, we are looking for a "Manager - Tax & Vat" to join our team IMMEDIATELY who will be responsible for driving all activities required for proper Taxation and Vat related services in compliance with laws and regulations within the timeframe.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Deliver a full range of VAT, tax & customs-related services in compliance with laws and regulations within the timeframe.
∎ Work with input tax credit, Turnover Tax, withholding tax, Retailer level VAT & VDS, AIT, CD and SD.
∎ Ensure proper compliance as per VAT Act 2012 & ITO 1984.
∎ Preparation of VAT-4.3,6.1, 6.2, 6.6, 6.10.
∎ Issuance of VAT-6.3,6.6, 6.7, 6.8.
∎ Calculation of VDS & TDS etc. and depositing to the Bank through treasury challan.
∎ Preparation and submission of VAT Return-9.1.
∎ Ensure monthly proper TDS deduction from Suppliers.
∎ Providing TDS certificates deducted from suppliers.
∎ Preparation of monthly proper TDS, challans on various heads of Income Tax & Deposit so to the Govt. exchequer.
∎ Ensure periodic compliance of BIDA and RJSC.
∎ Filling various returns like Corporate Tax returns, Salary and Withholding tax returns.
∎ Keep the management up-to-date with all relevant changes in VAT regulations and their potential impact on the organization.
∎ Maintain all levels of communication with the local Tax circle office, customs office, VAT commissioner, division office, circle office, customs intelligence office etc.
∎ Ensure tasks related with HS code, customs act, BIDA, RJSC etc.
∎ Other duties and responsibilities as entrusted by the management from time to time.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 21 years
∎ Bachelor’s or Master's or ACCA/CA degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related areas.
∎ At Least 7+ years’ experience in a relevant field.
∎ Proficient in SAP, Excel and strong analytical abilities.
∎ Demonstrable knowledge in statutory reporting requirements and IFRS standards
∎ Excellent Communication skills.
∎ Hard-working, adaptable person with the ability to work independently and proactively
∎ Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in performing job duties.
∎ Structured problem solver ability with excellent analytical and organizational skills
∎ Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
