• Industry Experience: Mandatory experience in trading, manufacturing, or Animal Feed Industry Raw Materials/FMCG import houses in Bangladesh.

Strategic Sourcing & Procurement

• Lead international sourcing of agro-commodities and feed raw materials including Corn/Maize, Soybean, Soybean Meal (SBM), Rape Seed Meal (RSM), Wheat Bran, DDGS (Dried Distillers Grain Solubles), Molasses (Indian), Fish Meal, Poultry Meal, and Limestone.

• Manage sourcing of feed additives and chemicals such as Choline Chloride, DL-Methionine, L-Lysine, L-Threonine 98.5%, DCP (Di-Calcium Phosphate), MCP (Mono Calcium Phosphate), and CGM (Corn Gluten Meal).

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies to ensure competitive pricing, consistent supply, and supplier reliability across global markets.

Commercial & Negotiation Management

• Negotiate international contracts covering pricing, LC terms, Incoterms, and payment structures to maximize profitability.

• Monitor global commodity trends and foreign exchange movements; recommend hedging or forward cover strategies where appropriate.

Logistics, Freight & Cost Optimization

• Optimize freight, shipping routes, and logistics planning to minimize lead time and landed cost.

• Oversee end-to-end import lifecycle from Proforma Invoice (PI) to Bill of Entry, ensuring accuracy and zero documentation errors.

Compliance & Regulatory Governance

• Ensure full compliance with Bangladesh Bank, customs regulations, and NBR import policies.

• Maintain audit-ready documentation and ensure adherence to all statutory and internal compliance standards.

Supplier & Risk Management

• Build, evaluate, and manage a diversified global supplier base for all key commodities and additives.

• Conduct supplier performance reviews and enforce contractual SLAs.

• Mitigate supply chain risks through alternative sourcing strategies and contingency planning.

Operational Excellence & Digitalization

• Implement digital tracking systems for real-time monitoring of all import consignments.

• Drive continuous cost-saving initiatives across procurement, logistics, and commercial functions.

Issue Resolution & Stakeholder Management

• Resolve supplier disputes, quality issues, shipment delays, and commercial claims efficiently.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (finance, operations, QA) to ensure smooth supply chain execution.
