Skills Required: Additional Requirements: 10-12 years of progressive experience in finance and administration, with at least 5 years in a senior managerial or "Head of capacity.
Proven expertise in managing complex Tax/VAT portfolios and securing high-level government approvals within the education or social enterprise sectors.
Mastery of financial modeling and enterprise-level accounting software.
Exceptional diplomatic and negotiation skills, with a track record of successfully navigating government bureaucracies.
Superior command of English and Bangla, with the ability to draft high-level formal correspondence.

- Position Overview
- AYAT Education is seeking a seasoned and high-performing Senior Manager/Head of Finance & Administration to serve as a strategic pillar of the organization's operational and financial integrity. Reporting directly to the CEO and Chairperson, this leadership role provides oversight over the entire financial, accounting, procurement, and administrative landscape of AYAT Education and its diverse ventures. The position is critical for ensuring full regulatory compliance, leading complex government liaison for institutional expansion, and maintaining a transparent, audit-ready financial environment during a phase of rapid scaling.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Financial Leadership and Oversight
- Direct and lead all financial operations across AYAT Education and its ventures, ensuring strict adherence to global financial policies and international accounting standards.
- Supervise and mentor the Finance and Accounts leadership, providing high-level guidance to Deputy and Assistant Managers to ensure accurate reporting and efficient fund management across all entities.
- Lead the formulation, review, and executive management of annual budgets, multi-year forecasts, and variance reports for the Board of Directors and key stakeholders.
- Ensure a robust internal control system to manage financial risks, including the oversight of payroll, banking transactions, and complex accounts payable/receivable cycles.
- Serve as the primary liaison with the Finance & Accounts team of the parent Group of Companies to synchronize reporting and ensure organizational financial health.
- Tax, VAT, and Statutory Compliance Management
- Ensure absolute compliance with Bangladesh's fiscal laws, managing the end-to-end lifecycle of Corporate Income Tax (AIT), VAT, and all other statutory filings.
- Lead the annual external financial audit process as the primary institutional representative, ensuring all audit findings are resolved and that the organization remains in "audit-ready status year-round.
- Act as the internal expert on labor laws and financial regulations, ensuring AYAT Education's administrative and financial practices exceed industry standards.
- Oversee the financial lifecycle of organizational investments, infrastructure projects, and the maintenance of a comprehensive fixed asset register.
- Strategic Government Relations and Institutional Expansion
- Take a proactive, executive-level lead in securing critical government approvals for AYAT's expansion, including seat increase approvals for ACNHS and new campus building permits.
- Navigate and lead communication with top-tier regulatory bodies, including the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Ministry of Education, BNMC, DGHS, DGNM, and the NGO Affairs Bureau.
- Represent AYAT Education at high-level governmental meetings to facilitate study center (Skills Academy) approvals and the launch of new technical training tracks.
- Build and sustain a powerful professional network within key ministries (MOEWOE, NSDA, BTEB) to ensure smooth operations for skilled migration and vocational education.
- Administrative, Procurement, and Operational Excellence
- Provide strategic direction for the procurement and vendor management department, ensuring cost-effective, transparent, and ethical sourcing for all institutional needs.
- Manage central administrative operations across all campuses, including facility maintenance, security protocols, and organizational asset management.
- Architect and implement streamlined administrative SOPs that improve operational efficiency between the corporate headquarters and various academic campuses.
- Lead high-stakes contract negotiations and legal reviews for agreements with vendors, landlords, and service providers to safeguard organizational interests.
- Team Mentorship and Organizational Development
- Foster a high-performance culture within the Finance and Administration team, emphasizing accountability, professional ethics, and precision.
- Support senior leadership in identifying funding opportunities, grants, and financial partnerships to support the organization's 2026 growth trajectory.
