∎ Caritas Bangladesh (CB) is a national and non-profit development organization operating in Bangladesh since 1967. It has its Central Office in Dhaka and eight Regional Offices in Barishal, Chattogram, Dhaka, Dinajpur, Khulna, Mymensingh, Rajshahi and Sylhet. CB is implementing 88 on-going projects covering 180 upazila focusing on six main priorities i.e i) Social Welfare for Vulnerable Communities, ii) Education and Child Development, iii) Nutrition and Health Education, iv) Disaster Management, v) Ecological Conservation and Food Security and vi) Development of Indigenous Peoples.
∎ Caritas Bangladesh (CB) is looking for suitable candidate (men and women) for immediate appointment for the following position as well as to prepare panel list which is based at its Caritas Cox Bazar Office under Caritas Chattogram Region for Emergency Response Program for Refugees from Northern Rakhine State of Myanmar in Bangladesh.
∎ The details of the position including job responsibilities, educational qualification and other qualities/competency required for the above positions are given below for your information:
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Work under direct supervision of Head of Program/Operation in coordination with Central and Regional HR Team.
∎ Lead and support human resource management of the project, as per policy/rules of Caritas.
∎ Support project management team in hiring of project staff including manpower planning at different levels as per Caritas policy
∎ Ensure that recruitment process is followed and started in advance to ensure that the vacant position are filled in as per timeline.
∎ Plan and ensure new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward organizational objectives, which includes planning and managing the onboarding process and training for all new hires.
∎ Manage the administration of all recruitment records, ensuring that these are complete, accurate and up to date.
∎ Prepare and review the job description for the project employees as per requirements.
∎ Maintain attendance and leave records of employees.
∎ Maintain and preserve all the human resource related files/documents of the project.
∎ Support Head of Program/Operation to orient the project team on program, policies and systems to be followed under the program.
∎ Assist & coordinate performance appraisal process & ensure appropriate and effective communication.
∎ Deal with employees’ disciplinary procedure.
∎ Support project management in planning motivational activities/interventions for the project team.
∎ Arrange capacity building training for field level supervisory staff to handle HR & admin. related matters.
∎ Verify and follow up the Project Training budget are used to cover staff development and talent management expenses effectively.
∎ Support Head of Program/Operation for capacity building training, team-building, including mentoring and coaching skills as well as tools for improving virtual teamwork and supporting a culture of shared leadership.
∎ Undertake field visits regularly and interact with team to ensure that the HR issues are identified and addressed timely.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age: Maximum 45 years (as on 30/06/2019)
∎ Minimum five (5) years working experience including minimum 3 years at the similar/mid level position in any reputed development organizations (NGO/INGO).
∎ Experience in dealing HR related matters in emergency response programs will be an added value.
∎ Strong knowledge on recruitment process.
∎ Sound knowledge on Leave Management, maintaining and updating personal files of employees.
∎ Skills in preparing different HR and administrative related letters/policies/guidlines.
∎ Knowledge on ICT particularly on MS Excel, MS Word (both Bangla & English), Power Point etc., is essential.
∎ Should be fluent in communication both in writing and speaking in English language.
∎ Should be self-driven and positive to work in a team.
Salary:
∎ Monthly Consolidated Salary: Taka 90,000/-
