Educational Requirements:
∎ Master's in Accounting from a recognized university.
∎ Preferred Professional Certification: CA (CC) and CA (Knowledge level) completed.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Must be target-oriented, able to fulfill responsibilities.
∎ Build a strong relationship with Clients.
∎ Manage all Corporate and Individual Income Tax, VAT and UGC-related queries and filings in the right manner and tax planning for assessment of companies.
∎ Prepare and submit monthly VAT returns (Mushok - 9.1) and other related documents as such Mushok - 4.3, Mushok - 6.3, Mushok - 6.4, Mushok - 6.6, Mushok - 6.10 as per new VAT & SD Act 2012 & Rule 2016 & also has to keep these record in own MS Excel.
∎ Ensure submission of Income Tax & VAT returns in due time along with the required documents.
∎ Attend hearing with The DCT, Appellate & Appellate Tribunal, and ADR for finalization of assessment.
∎ Review all financial records, systems, and control processes of the company as per accounting standards and tax laws.
∎ Delivery of a full range of Tax & VAT services in compliance with laws and regulations within the time frame.
∎ Identify and mitigate tax risks as well as review the Audited Financial Statements in the light of Income Tax Ordinance, 1984 with a view to reducing the disallowances.
∎ Manage tax provision and tax compliance process and coordinate tax audits with Tax authorities and consultants.
∎ Ensure proper compliance as per Bangladesh Income Tax Ordinance 1984, Company Law, and VAT Act.
∎ Ensure proper documentation, control, and maintain necessary records with respect to income tax-related issues,
∎ TDS, VDS, VAT, AIT & other hearing-related documents.
∎ Maintaining internal Audit on all accounting issues.
∎ Handling external Audits for tax accounts and other issues.
∎ Reconciliation of all accounts.
∎ Preparing all kinds of periodic account Tax & VAT-related reports/statements.
∎ Ensure monthly TDS and VDS deduction from the applicable heads of accounts and deposit to the Govt. treasury.
∎ Prepare TDS & VDS certificates (Mushok - 6.6) and provide them to vendors.
∎ Maintain statements in compliance with the regulatory requirements of the related bodies - Auditors (internal & external) NBR (Tax purpose) and VAT authorities.
∎ Should have sound knowledge on VAT online and VAT rebate/refund and exemption process.
∎ Work independently and have sufficient knowledge regarding Import, Customs procedures, VAT & Tax rules related to Import.
∎ Any other assignments assigned by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 6 to 8 year(s) relevant work experience is required for this position in a leading local organization.
∎ The applicants should have experience in Accounts, Finance, Tax (VAT/ Customs Duty/ Income Tax)
∎ Fluent in English.
∎ Sound knowledge in computer skills (MS Office & Internet).
