The Senior Executive – Modern Trade will be responsible for driving sales growth, strengthening key account relationships, and ensuring effective execution across all modern trade channels. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, improving product availability, enhancing in-store visibility, and executing trade marketing initiatives. The incumbent will work closely with key retail partners, supply chain, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations, optimal stock management, and business expansion within modern trade networks.
Job Responsibilities:
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for modern trade channels.
Develop and execute effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
Monitor sales performance regularly and implement corrective actions where required.
Ensure consistent product availability and maintain optimal stock levels across all modern trade outlets.
Build and maintain strong business relationships with key modern trade partners and key accounts.
Negotiate trade agreements, promotional activities, pricing, and display arrangements.
Conduct regular business reviews with partners to evaluate performance and identify growth opportunities.
Manage product listings, SKU expansion, and pricing negotiations with key accounts.
Plan and execute in-store promotions, trade marketing campaigns, and seasonal activations.
Ensure proper merchandising, planogram compliance, and strong brand visibility at store level.
Monitor competitor activities and provide timely market insights and recommendations.
Supervise, guide, and support sales officers and merchandisers to ensure execution excellence.
Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure smooth and timely product distribution.
Prepare, analyze, and present sales reports, forecasts, and market trend analysis.
Ensure overall operational efficiency and compliance across all modern trade channels.
