Job Responsibilities:
∎ Coordinate all testing procedures in a manner that's most efficient;
∎ Understand the importance of producing accurate and reliable results;
∎ Maintain high quality standards in testing and timely delivery of test result;
∎ Maintain timely delivery of test result;
∎ Follow-up decisions of accepting or rejecting any test result;
∎ Maintain routine logs, laboratory notes and make daily test status of Laboratory;
∎ Responsible to commercial test by own hand as also assessed;
∎ Assist in preparing of the following test conducted as per AATCC, ASTM and ISO approved method;
∎ Color fastness analysis for textile fabrics;
∎ Fabric identification by qualitative and quantitative analysis (Pilling resistance, bursting strength, snagging test)
∎ Dimension stability of fabric and garments, appearance test on garments/fabrics, bowing/skew;
∎ Maintain safety, quality and compliance activities in workplace;
∎ Coordinate and implement buyer requirements;
∎ Supervise the subordinates work at laboratory;
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 28 to 30 years
∎ The applicant should have at least 2 years experience in testing laboratory in large textile industry.
∎ Good communication (written/verbal) & presentation skills.
∎ Strong analytical & leadership ability and work as a strategic thinker.
∎ Positive work ethics and result oriented for assigned responsibilities.
∎ Self-driven to work under pressure and self-motivated to take new initiatives.
∎ Ability to maintain good interpersonal relationships and good team work.
∎ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
