Bachelor/Diploma Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering
Responsibilities & Context:
1. Pre-Installation
Study individual product models and technical specifications in detail.
Ensure shaft readiness and site preparedness by coordinating with the client as per requirements.
Raise and submit material and manpower requisitions in a timely manner.
Arrange appropriate teams, tools, and materials to ensure smooth execution without delays.
2. Installation
Follow approved blueprints and technical drawings, including electrical, civil, and mechanical layouts, to ensure accurate installation.
Lead, supervise, and coordinate installation teams on-site.
Ensure installation quality checks are conducted as per company standards and guidelines.
3. Testing, Commissioning & Troubleshooting
Lead and supervise testing and commissioning activities.
Ensure proper wiring and system functionality during commissioning.
Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot technical issues arising during installation, testing, or commissioning phases.
4. Maintenance and Repairs (If Required)
Perform routine maintenance and periodic inspections.
Attend service calls and repair malfunctioning elevators and escalators promptly to minimize downtime.
5. Safety Compliance
Ensure strict adherence to all safety protocols during installation and commissioning.
Confirm that all work complies with applicable local and national safety regulations and standards.
Promote a safety-first culture among team members.
6. Collaboration and Communication
Work closely with senior engineers, project managers, and technical teams.
Maintain effective communication with clients regarding installation progress, technical issues, and timelines.
7. Handover
Ensure timely and proper handover of installed equipment to the client.
Complete all required documentation and approvals at the time of handover.
8. Additional Responsibilities
Perform any other duties or tasks as assigned by management from time to time.
