Job Responsibilities:
∎ In charge of story planning and special reporting units
∎ Strategic reform at Newsroom
∎ Lead digital transition
∎ Supervise website and newswire news
∎ Spearhead visual journalism
∎ Prepare and enforce operational guidelines (Code of Conduct, House Style, Meeting formats, Working Culture) for efficient running of company
∎ Educate existing newsroom members on adopting trending news styles and categories
∎ Facilitate communication between newsroom team and digital team
∎ Increase engagement with contributors, freelancers and relevant communities for Magazine
∎ Organize and lead various event
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Need to work swiftly and quickly with attention to detail
∎ High quality English writing and editing skills
∎ Good news judgement
∎ Knowledge on new media
∎ Must be tech savvy and understand SEO writing style
∎ Must understand news packaging (understanding what illustrations to add with text stories)
∎ Must stay up to date with latest trends, patterns and stories
