Job Context:
∎ A Reputed Group of Companies is seeking Security Supervisors to help protect the property of his Corporate Office, Dhaka. Security Supervisors will be responsible for creating, implementing, and overseeing a comprehensive security strategy to safeguard the Corporate Office`s assets, personnel, and information. Their role will involve assisting security personnel, developing security protocols, and collaborating with various departments to ensure a safe and secure environment.
∎ Position of "Security Supervisors" closes on 05 October 2023 midnight.
∎ Working Patterns: The Security Section is committed to providing 24/7 service to the office; therefore, duties are allocated as per shifts. Flexible working will not be possible.
∎ Type of Position: Full-time, Permanent
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Security Supervisors are reporting to the Admin Department. During the period of duty, they will be under the direct control of the Admin Department. They whilst on duty are subject at all times to the Rules and Regulations of the Company.
∎ Security Supervisors are required to know the shift patterns, their responsibilities and face appropriately to any difficulties arising. They will be required to fulfil additional duties as directed by the Authority in addition to those not laid down, as and when required to do so in the course of their security responsibilities.
∎ The Security Supervisor's period of duty will be designated as per the shift roster and in line with their terms and conditions of employment. They will not leave their post until they have handed over to their relief and briefed him on any unusual events. Security Supervisors will be punctual when taking over their duty. If any Security Supervisor relief fails to report for duty, he must inform the Admin Department who will then arrange an alternative relief. At no time should a Security Supervisor leave post without appropriate relief.
∎ Security Supervisors are to remain awake and alert at all times during their shift. Disciplinary action will be taken if a Security Supervisoris found to be asleep whilst on duty, inattentive or absent without permission at any time.
∎ While on duty, Security Supervisor is specifically responsible for, but not limited to:
∎ Security Strategy: Develop and execute a holistic security strategy that aligns with the company's goals, ensuring the protection of physical assets, information and personnel.
∎ Personnel Management: Lead and manage the security team, training, performance evaluations, and ensuring a high standard of professionalism and discipline.
∎ Security Protocols: Design, implement, and enforce security protocols, policies, and procedures to mitigate risks, prevent unauthorized access, and respond effectively to security incidents.
∎ Risk Assessment: Identify potential security vulnerabilities and conduct regular risk assessments to proactively address threats and vulnerabilities.
∎ Crisis Management: Develop and oversee crisis management plans, including emergency response procedures, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans.
∎ Surveillance Systems: Manage and maintain surveillance systems to monitor and protect office facilities.
∎ Collaboration: Collaborate with various internal departments to ensure security measures align with overall business operations.
∎ External Partnerships: Establish relationships with law enforcement agencies and security organizations to stay informed about emerging security trends and best practices.
∎ Incident Response: Lead investigations into security breaches, incidents, and violations, ensuring appropriate corrective actions are taken and lessons learned are applied.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 50 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Retired Defense personnel will be given preferences.
