Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist the line manager in supervising and closely monitoring the security guards by patrolling and spot-checking on a regular basis.
∎ In collaboration with the line manager, undertake necessary actions to prevent unauthorized intruders or possible crime in campus and residential buildings. Advise the management and take measures needed to prevent theft/burglary.
∎ Provide necessary training to the security guards, conduct daily security briefings, and ensure proper communications are maintained with the students, employees, visitors, and vendors.
∎ Maintain daily records including Guard Rotas (daily schedule of guard duty), vehicle/employee/visitor register, key register, incidents, accidents, and security breaches.
∎ Assist the line manager to design and develop security enhancement of the facilities. This includes- periodic reviews and updates of security protocols, procedures, security equipment and facilities.
∎ Conduct daily physical hazard/safety inspections, fix any danger issues, and report to the line manager for immediate action.
∎ Regularly monitor closed-circuit televisions and alarm systems. Report to the line manager if any unauthorized activities are in/adjacent to the premises. Report if any of the methods are not functioning.
∎ Inspect security tools, equipment and machines to ensure the smooth operation of security systems. Undertake repair and maintenance of the security equipment as necessary.
∎ Any other duty assigned by the management.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 35 years
∎ Candidate must value teamwork, collaboration, and be willing to learn from others
∎ Experienced in safety and damage prevention
∎ Flexible in working at night, on weekends and on holidays
∎ Basic English communication skills
∎ Basic computer skills
∎ Energetic, physical fitness is essential to work long hours across multiple locations
∎ Retired Non-Commissioned Officer from defense or equivalent ranks
∎ Certified First Aider, Fire Warden or CPR Licensee will get the advantage
∎ Knowledge of the country's security laws and regulations, occupational safety and health regulations

Salary: Tk. 30000 - 35000 (Monthly)
