Job Responsibilities:
∎ To make consumption, marker, grading etc.
∎ To Communicate with the merchandisers and buyers.
∎ To prepare pattern as per the requirement given by the buyer through concerned merchandiser and ensure timely delivery of pattern/sample.
∎ To prepare sample after approval from the buyer and send it to the concern sections of garments division.
∎ To ensure that any change made in the previously approved sample is communicated to the concern persons in time.
∎ To ensure that quality samples are prepared and same samples are given to the garments division so that they can maintain the required standard.
∎ To Check Sketching sample & Making Sample as per Buyer’s Requirement.
∎ Create a master pattern for each size which within a range of garment sizes, using measurement charts, drafting instruments, CAD computers, and/or grading devise.
∎ Determine the best layout of pattern pieces to minimize waste of material and mark fabric accordingly.
∎ Examine sketches, sample articles, and design specifications to determine quantities, shapes, and sizes of pattern parts and to determine the amount of material or fabric required to make a product consumption.
∎ Mark samples and finished patterns with information such as garment size, section, style, identification, and sewing instructions.
∎ Assessment of design sample, fit sample, red seal & gold seal samples upon received from the buyer.
∎ Thorough Knowledge of fabric consumption, pattern grading, CAD marker, fabrics construction, fabrics quality, tests & washes, seam strength & shrinkage performance etc.
∎ Must have good knowledge of woven garment manufacturing process and risk assessment of the product.
∎ Ensure the quality of sample according to buyer requirements and delivery schedule on time.
∎ Proper communication with buyers, merchandiser and production team.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 30 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ The Applicants should have experience in the following area(s)- (1) Pattern Technician in International Buying House & Factory.
∎ Computer literacy is a must especially in CAD System such as Garber/winda design Software etc.
∎ Practical experience in the relevant track in a large Garments Industry as a Merchandiser
∎ Sound knowledge in Excel & E-mailing.
∎ Able to speak & write in English.
∎ Able to suggest alternative solution.
∎ Good trouble shooter on quality and on technical measures.
