Experience:
Urgently hiring Safety Technicians for the Al Watniya Project. The selected candidates will be responsible for maintaining workplace safety standards, ensuring compliance with HSE regulations, and supporting accident prevention activities at the project site. Candidates must have practical knowledge of occupational safety procedures, emergency response, firefighting, and first aid practices.
Monitor daily site activities to ensure compliance with company safety rules and HSE regulations.
Conduct routine safety inspections and identify workplace hazards or unsafe conditions.
Ensure workers use proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
Support implementation of OSHA and IOSH safety standards on site.
Assist in conducting toolbox talks and safety awareness sessions for workers.
Report accidents, incidents, near misses, and unsafe practices to supervisors.
Maintain safety records, inspection checklists, and incident reports.
Assist during emergency situations including firefighting and evacuation procedures.
Provide basic first aid support in case of workplace injuries or emergencies.
Coordinate with supervisors and workers to maintain a safe working environment.
Ensure fire extinguishers, emergency exits, and safety equipment are properly maintained and accessible.
Follow company safety policies and participate in regular HSE meetings and training sessions.
Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent qualification.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in occupational health and safety field.
Valid OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) Safety Certification.
IOSH (Institution of Occupational Safety and Health) Training Certificate.
Basic Firefighting Training certification.
Certified in First Aid Training.
Good knowledge of workplace safety procedures and hazard identification.
Ability to work in project sites, industrial areas, or construction environments.
Physically fit and capable of working under site conditions.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to respond quickly during emergencies and follow safety protocols.
Must be disciplined, responsible, and safety-conscious.
Willing to work 8 hours duty, 6 days per week, with overtime as per company requirements.
