Experience:
• Candidates with at least 2 research publications in Scopus-indexed Q1/Q2/Q3 journals will be given preference.
• Demonstrated experience in the full journal paper submission process, including manuscript preparation, correspondence with journal publishers, and incorporation of reviewer feedback.
• Candidates who have successfully pursued and submitted a research monograph or thesis will be given preference.
• Achiever, innovative, and impact-creating mindset.
• Flexible working mindset with willingness to travel outside Dhaka for research, survey, and data collection purposes as and when required.
• Expertise in data analysis and excellent reporting skills.
• Proficiency in preparing research and data-driven PowerPoint presentations to a professional standard.
• Expertise in global-standard, plagiarism-free academic and professional writing.
• Presentable with a continuous learning and re-learning mindset.
Education
• BSS (Honours) or BSc (Honours) in Economics with a minimum CGPA of 3.50 out of 4.00 from a recognised university.
• MSS or MSc in Economics with a minimum CGPA of 3.50 out of 4.00 from a recognised university.
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days physical office, 3 days remote/work from home)
Work Days: 6 days per week
Key Responsibilities
1. Conduct social science, economics, business, and market-related research under the direct supervision of the Founder & CEO of EHL Market Intel.
2. Proactively develop unique and innovative research ideas that contribute to the organisation’s knowledge portfolio and market positioning.
3. Prepare, submit, and follow up on research papers to Scopus-indexed Q1/Q2/Q3 journals, managing the end-to-end publication process including reviewer correspondence until the paper is published.
4. Prepare research and data-driven PowerPoint presentations to a professional standard and present findings to potential clients on thematic areas.
5. Prepare and submit tender bidding documents, research proposals, business proposals, and financial proposals as guided by the CEO.
6. Follow up with potential clients and support business development activities.
7. Work closely with the CEO on strategic and operational priorities.
8. Carry out any other responsibilities assigned by the management.
• Salary: Tk. 15,000 per month during probationary period; Tk. 18,000 per month after confirmation.
• Festival Bonus: 2 per year.
• Salary Review: Yearly.
• Performance Bonus: Based on extraordinary performance.
