Job Context:
∎ Nabolok on behalf of Network on Climate Change in Bangladesh (NCC,B)
∎ Project Name: `Advocacy to Enhance Governance for the Climate Vulnerable People in Bangladesh` (Phase 2)
∎ Project Duration: Till December 2021
∎ Contract: 30 month fixed term contract (with option to extend depending on securing further funding)
∎ Work Station: Dhaka with frequent field visit.
∎ Hours of work: 5/6 days per week (9.00 AM to 5.30 PM)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Research and Advocacy Associate (Climate Financing) will be responsible for the following:
∎ S/he will assist to prepare research/ seminar paper and concept note on climate financing.
∎ S/he will assist to mobilize relevant stakeholders in advocacy initiative.
∎ S/he will assist to develop campaign materials & resources and campaigning correspondence such as letters, e-mails etc.
∎ Provide logistical support for organizing campaign events.
∎ Helping to draft news releases, articles and blogs on advocacy events.
∎ Assist and initiate research work on climate financing issues.
∎ Monitoring and adding content to NCCB's Financing website (will be developed), responding to queries and comments where appropriate.
∎ Assist in frequent monitoring of Climate Financing both in global and national level.
∎ Provide information regarding national and global events on Climate Financing.
∎ Documentation advocacy/campaigning and other activities of the NCC,B through preparing event reports, capturing best practices and lesson learnt etc.
∎ Undertaking any other tasks reasonably required by the Executive Director.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 2/3 years working experience in similar type of activities.
∎ Willingness to travel all over Bangladesh and abroad whenever required
∎ Computer skill in MS Office particularly in MS Word, MS Excel & Power point and Website development.

Salary:
∎ Monthly salary TK. 30,000- 35,000 (gross) with two annual bonuses and 10% increment as per policy.
