Responsibilities & Context:
Roster Based Duty including Night Shift
- To review prescriptions to ensure accuracy, ascertain the needed medicine and to evaluate their suitability.
- To provide information and advice regarding drug interactions, side effects, dosage, and proper medication, storage to the clients/patients.
- To maintain records such as pharmacy files, patient profiles, inventories and maintains registries of narcotics and controlled drugs.
- Oversees the acquisition and disbursement of drugs and medications to various patients and other sites.
- Plans, implements, and maintains procedures for storing, packaging, and labeling pharmaceuticals according to policy and legal requirements to ensure quality, security, and proper disposal.
- Ensure proper management of the date expired medicine items from time to time.
