Responsibilities & Context:
- Imaging: Perform x-rays and other imaging procedures, including bedside and operative radiography
- Patient care: Ensure patient comfort and safety during the scanning procedure.
- Equipment: Operate and maintain radiographic equipment, and x-ray machines Radiation .
- Safety: Adhere to radiation safety regulations and standards, and monitor radiation exposure for patients and staff .
- Quality assurance: Oversee quality assurance procedures and ensure compliance with imaging standards.
- Patient records: Fill out patient records and other documentation
- Communication: Answer patient and doctor phone calls, and provide pre-procedure guidance.
- Professionalism: Maintain professional standards and good working relationships with staff and patients .
